Sweatshop starts work with Jason White- December News

As we close this year of work at The Sweatshop, I'm so thankful for the great art that I've been able to be witness to as a producer and engineer. I really do think that I have the best seat in the house when it comes to music. I get to collaborate and see the process occur as some of the most talented songwriters in the world develop their songs. Working with AJ Babcock and Pete Good has been a thrill and I'll always be proud of the work that I did on Nat Clubbs debut EP. The list would get long if I thanked everyone that I had the honor of working with this year in the studio.
This week brought a bunch of new names to the studio and among them was one of my favorite Nashville based singer/songwriters, Jason White. I used to work as a bartender at a restaurant near the studio called Rumours, and thats where I was first introduced to his record, "The Longing." If you're wanting to learn what good songwriting sounds like, I would highly recomend picking it up.
